The Ultimate Winter 2020 Trend: Track Sole Boots
Finding the perfect track sole boots
I can honestly say that hunting for the perfect black pair of boots is not an easy thing. In fact, I was always disappointed and the only boots I loved were usually overpriced. I don’t mind spending my money on expensive items, but for some reason, I didn’t want a black pair of boots to empty my bank account. Luckily, this year has been a promising year for boots in general. The ultimate Winter 2020 trend: Track Sole Boots has been the most satisfying thing ever. Zara, my go-to destination, created a bunch of different boots and I FINALLY found the perfect ones!
The perfect winter 2020 black pair of boots
A simple pair of boots can go with many, many, many outfits. They can also help you get ready faster in the morning. Indeed, it is very easy to put on a cute dress, high boots and an oversized coat in less than 10 minutes. But you know what I love even more? Combat boots! These chunky sole boots contain a lace-up front, which is probably my favourite detail. They are quite imposing and I’ve always seen them as a statement piece.
How I wear The Ultimate Winter 2020 Trend Track Sole boots
Personally, colours are my thing and I truly enjoy wearing them. However, Montreal winter kills that vibe and my happy wardrobe slowly changes for a funeral selection. All black outfits are a real thing but I do understand the hype for them. My latest purchase, the Aritzia Rocco coat, was the most perfect item to go with my new 2020 track sole boots. The oversized black wool coat goes slightly over my high boots giving it the perfect touch. My usual tips when you’re getting ready is to mix different shapes and lengths. For example, you can wear a cropped leather jacket, long shirt, mini short, black tights and high boots. Watch my latest Youtube video to see my recent “black basics” purchases a woman should own.
Linda Farrow sunglasses & Burberry thin scarf
I recently purchased a unique pair of sunglasses from Linda farrow. Side note, if you were looking for new sunglasses, Linda Farrow is definitely worth every penny. The Debbie D-Frame comes in different colours such as black, white, tortoiseshell and more. As mentioned in my recent Youtube video, the Linda Farrow’s quality is honestly out of this world. I can easily say they are the most solid pair I own so far. To add a bit of colour to this “I’m going to a funeral” type of outfit, I wore a lovely printed scarf from Burberry. Personally, it took me quite a few months before getting used to the new Burberry branding and logo. However, I get it now and I love it. My hair is never really on point so using a beautiful scarf is perfect to distract people from my frizzy hair.
Fyi, these winter 2020 track sole boots go very well with a simple pair of legging and black turtle neck cashmere sweater. Read my recent article to get some inspiration!
A perfect afternoon at Hotel Place d’Armes
Since Montreal weather is starting to get VERY cold, going for a walk with a friend is not an option anymore. My lovely friend Josianne spoiled me with a delicious lunch and a beautiful day at Hotel Place d’Armes, one of my favourite hotel. If you were looking for an amazing little getaway with the perfect location, you should definitely have a look. Having stayed there myself 2 years ago, I can’t tell you enough how much I love Hotel Place D’Armes You might even remember this location from a recent post Montreal Best Rooftop Terrace. Side note, their salmon poke bowl was DELICIOUS.
In the meantime, enjoy the rest of the week darlings xo
