Tips on how to style a leather mini skirt
Some people tend to stay away from leather skirts for many reasons. However, I’ve always felt like having a mini leather skirt was a must-have in a woman’s wardrobe. Personally, I think leather skirts are very easy to style and can be worn for so many occasions. A few tips on how to style this gorgeous item to look trendy this season!

First tip on Styling a leather mini Skirt: Choose the right skirt
Believe me, choosing the right skirt is probably the most important and hardest thing. No one wants to walk around in a cheap looking skirt with a bad fit. You can obviously go with a faux leather skirt which can be just as nice. To be honest, I had to look for a very really long time before finding this gorgeous leather skirt from Zara for 119$. The most important criterias for me were the fit but also the quality of the actual fabric. You will often find leather skirts from H&M for example with pig leather. I’m sorry but I don’t want to walk around with pig leather…ever.

Second tip on Styling a leather mini Skirt: Keep it simple
You can find many different styles on the market but my favourite look is a simple straight mini skirt. I do like to go overboard with my outfits however, sometimes less is more. I’ve always loved mini skirts because they can be styled with a simple white shirt, cute sneakers and look amazing. In other words, if you’re unsure, style your leather skirt with basics only.

Finally, don’t be afraid to mix textures
I LOVE mixing different textures together. If the weather would have been chilly, a knit cardigan would have been perfect. My top is not real leather which proves that faux leather can look just as nice! Finally, I added a linen blazer because leather and linen go beautifully together. Don’t be afraid to wear a bunch of different fabrics and textures at the same time. By doing so, you will give your outfit something unique and very interesting to look at.
