A simple and delicious picnic with Finca Las Moras Lady Blanc
Sun is out, baskets are out, a simple and delicious picnic with Finca Las Moras Lady Blanc to spend the loveliest time
After losing hope, spring finally decided to give us a bit of sunshine. Only thing is, summer is literally next week and this last minute spring has been annoying more than anything. Regardless of the VERY unpredictable weather, we had an amazing weekend to make the cutest picnic. A simple and delicious picnic with Finca Las Moras Lady Blanc was the perfect opportunity to drink in the sun!
What to pack for an easy but delicious picnic?
Packing should be your main concern, or at least one of your priorities. I personally get anxiety just knowing that my food is not safely closed. The last thing you want when having a picnic is to deal with a complete food mess in your basket. Therefore, mason jars are the perfect solution to avoid these kind of situations.
Of course you can make yourself a very fancy and elaborate picnic, but I wanted something simple and quick to prepare. Believe me, the last thing I wanted was to go in full preparation mode. I went to the grocery store and bought some fresh baguette, delicious brie cheese, fresh blackberries, blueberries and a pomegranate. Since my friend is vegan, she also made a delicious hummus packed in a cute mason jar.
Finca Las Moras Lady Blanc affordable wine
With time, you realise what people are truly looking for when they go out: affordable good alcohol. One thing my friends love more than anything is probably open bars. However, a good and cheap bottle is something that makes them REALLY happy. Finca Las Moras clearly knows that and made sure to give us a really good bottle for only 12.95$ with a pretty design. The best part is that Finca Las Moras uses temperature-sensitive labels. Meaning that when your bottle is cold enough and ready, the sticker will let you know! This white wine is perfect with pasta, white meat or as an aperitif.
With that being said, having pasta was a bit too complicated so I figured the Lady Blanc would go perfectly with a delicious brie. I got myself a delicious fresh baguette, cut an enormous piece of brie, added some organic maple syrup spread and ate that thing like there was no tomorrow. One word, DIVINE! I finished everything with tasteful fruits and my stomach was the happiest.

One last tip to keep your food and wine cold
A cooler and lots of ice! It might not be the most stylish thing, but a cooler is so helpful. You find them for so cheap but they will keep your food, fruits and wine fresh and cool. My only mistake is that I didn’t put bring enough ice, therefore, my wine wasn’t very cold. I simply added some directly in my glass and also some ice cubes in my blueberries. Our picnic was a complete success and everyone was quite jealous of our little set up.
