What a fashionista should pack for a winter weekend getaway this season
How to look trendy and cute during your winter weekend getaway this season
I love going on vacation but I’m not that familiar with winter’s weekend getaways. However, on my last visit to Manoir Hovey, I was quite impressed with my packing list. Of course, I had to share my winter packing list with all of you fashionistas. However, this might not be the ideal packing list if you want to keep yourself warm. But, if looking cute and trendy is your thing, this winter weekend get away packing list is perfect! In this article, I will tell you exactly what a fashionista should pack for a winter weekend getaway.
My What a Fashionista Should Pack for a Winter Weekend Getaway is my latest article to finally come to the rescue when packing for the weekend. To the silk pyjama to the trendy boots, you will pack light and in style!
What a Fashionista Should Pack for a Winter Weekend Getaway
A packing list to help you with your winter weekend getaway
I might not be an expert when it comes to packing smart but I do know how to pack like a fashionista. Winter getaways are fun and all until you have to actually decide what to bring with you. Quite frankly, I’m not the type of person to go for a walk or to actually get out. Canada is way too cold for me so I rather stay inside and enjoy a good cup of coffee. As you might have seen in my previous article, we spent the weekend at Manoir Hovey and I was very impressed with my packing skills. Well, obviously, this packing list is definitely not the right one if you spend most of your time outside. However, if you want to look cute and have this “winter babe” kind of vibe, you’re in the right place.
Ministry of Style, a new Australian favourite
Ladies, you know that my goal is to find you the perfect brands for your wardrobe. You will be happy to know that I recently discovered a gorgeous Australian brand with amazing designs but also great quality. I found Ministry of Style through Instagram and was so excited after seeing their collection. Get ready because their upcoming collection is BEAUTIFUL. The trousers and blouse I’m wearing is a sneak peek of what’s coming!

Manoir Hovey Tap Room restaurant
Have you ever seen the Dynasty’s episode where Fallon goes after Liam on a ski trip to Idaho? Well, that’s what the Tap Room feels like, minus the ski. The Tap Room is a cool and trendy pub with a surprising menu. You will find a vegetarian burger, a smoked meat that was actually smoked there, a delicious blue cheese salad and much more. We ended our delicious lunch with an elegant chocolate dessert. The Tap Room is the perfect place to spend the whole afternoon in a relaxed ambiance while enjoying some delicious food.
Don’t overpack for your winter weekend getaway
Do not make that mistake. Remember that a winter weekend getaway is also the perfect moment to relax and wear your pyjama as much as possible. I don’t bring heels with me because I always want to be comfortable. For example, I had breakfast in my silk pyjama but wearing my hotel slippers. It’s a fun look and people don’t look at you funny because you’re wearing something very luxurious. Finally, think about yourself and do things that you enjoy. Personally, staying in my cottage drinking coffee was my favourite thing to do. In other words, do you honey boo!
