How to dress for a first casual coffee date
Telling you how to dress for a first casual coffee date (and showing you this pretty place)
How to dress for a first casual coffee date nowadays? Making a good impression on a first date is something we all want. When I say date, I don’t necessarily mean meeting a new beau. I probably go on coffee dates with my friends way more than I see my own boyfriend. In my defence, he hates coffee and for him, sitting on a chair drinking something seems pointless (shocking I know). Therefore, I plan a weekly date with my friends to keep me happy.
FIRST THING FIRST, CHOOSE A COMFORTABLE OUTFIT
Ladies, make yourself a favour and choose a cosy and comfy outfit. The worst thing is to wear something where you feel weird and not completely yourself. Confidence is the one thing that attracts all of us (almost) but we can all agree that it will make you stand out and make you look prettier than you already are.
Because I can’t stand jeans, wearing a dress is for me the easiest option when choosing a comfortable outfit. Although, a tight dress is not comfortable at all so selecting an oversized dress instead would be perfect! Personally, knitted dresses are my favourite kinds and they are quite easy to wear.
Be extra and match with the decor
Yep, I am not kidding here! I always have people telling me how pretty my pictures are and how my outfits surprisingly match the decor. Well, you will be happy to know that my life is not as magical. I do have to plan everything ahead to make sure my pictures turn out the way they are. Make some research on your coffee date location and choose something accordingly to the design.

Add a designer touch to your outfit
Some may believe that wearing a full designer outfit is the way to go but I’ve never believed that. You can get away with a relatively cheap alternative and a nice designer accessory to add uniqueness to your outfit. A bag is always a good designer option but even a small silk scarf as a hair accesory could do the job!
Finally, don’t forget to add a little blush on your cheeks and a bit of natural gloss to finish your casual, yet sophisticated look!
